With the federal order to move the s/s United States off her berth the media started occasionally mentioning this old lady starting in 2022 after the eviction order from Philadelphia.

My leave was nearing it's end so I instead of hazarding a 3h car ride in the middle of the night we went a day earlier to Manila and ended up bouncing about malls and tourist venues for the same cost the taxi would have been.

As I was on an outing on my recent leave in Philippines I took a ferry from Port of Batangas to Puerto Galera and lo and behold I saw my old workplace, the ex Bore Queen, now Super Shuttle Roro 9 (SSR9), on the roads at anchor. I managed to get some shots of her from afar both going and coming back, see the pictures below.
