Whilst venturing up the valley we stopped in the witch museum. The village rides hard on the witch heritage (that apparently is based on 3 girls from neigbouring Glori), and they celebrate all the pagan highlights like samhain etc. The shops sport all kind of sorcery trinkets and would well fit into a Harry Potter backdrop.

Cap San Diego
Having been invited to Doehle offices for an event I also took the advantage to visit Cap San Diego that is a museum ship sitting in Hamburg most of the time. What is special about her is that she is still in Class and does short cruises along the German coast in summertime depending on how their funds last. She is mostly kept ship shape by enthusiasts and pensioned seafarers.

Cruiser Georgios Averof
For this Sunday entertainment I decided to visit the Cruiser Georgios Averof (Γεώργιος Αβέρωφ) that was moored down in Flisvos, next to the marina. The cruiser is a one of a kind still left floating, any others have long already been sank or scrapped and relegated to the annals of history.

Hellas Liberty
Having seen a Liberty ship in Piraeus on arrival, I got curious and followed up a bit later by uncle Google to see what she was about and discovered that she is a museum and has free entry so I took the opportunity one Sunday to go see her in the "flesh" so to speak.
