Translation of a German 80's advertisement blurb of Anny von Hamburg. Mr Deistler himself is also featured on the picture from the saloon.

This three-masted schooner with a steel hull was built in 1914 on the Lower Weser River and sailed for decades as a cargo vessel. Length 38 m, beam 7 m, displacement 220 tons, upwind sail area 520 sq m. In 1981/82, the ship was faithfully restored and received the highest safety rating from Germanischer Lloyd.

While ropes, teak, and brass on deck create a true windjammer atmosphere, below deck, only comfort awaits. Regardless of cost, the former storage space was fitted out with elegant private yacht interiors. Ten guests travel in five comfortable double cabins, each with its own shower and toilet. The handcrafted mahogany furnishings with leather upholstery and brass lamps evoke the atmosphere of an English club. The ship comfortably accommodates 30 people for day trips and evening events. The captain, cook, and crew combine service with nautical hospitality.

In the summer, the ship sails from New York to Lengleland Sound, and in the winter, it cruises the Caribbean. The charter price is DM 4,000 per day or DM 22,000 per week.

You can windsurf, waterski, handle the halyards and sheets, take the helm, or have the skipper introduce you to the secrets of navigation.
