s/y Epsilon

Epsilon departing Djibouti

As I was in Djibouti getting Kalizma ready to depart I spotted this adventurer out of Djibouti on his sailing ketch Epsilon.
As per the markings on the bow it appears she is Russian and I could see a couple onboard when they puttered off. I then went on the interwebs and discovered she's indeed Russian and self made.
The builder, Andrey Nevzorov, has posted 3 posts detailing his build project that is based on the Australian Spray 46 by Bruce Roberts:
For colleagues who want to build a boat
Project of a boat for life under sail, part 1
It is all in Russian but the browser translate function works well here and it is quite interesting how the planning went and seeing him indeed going on the high seas in practice and not only by a gin and tonic in the marina. There are also enclosed detailed general arrangements (see below). Actually the whole domain seems to be his, detailing their world voyages together with his wife!

Epsilon

It appears that Epsilon has already reached SE Asia and is cruising in Indonesia according to AIS tracking sites. I think he was just in time before any troubles started in Yemen, Somalia, etc. Epsilon has a LOA 14m, width 5m and draught 2m. I'm judging of the website post replies that she has been built 2019/20 maybe. The s/y Epsilon register is AA2132RUS77 and her MMSI is 273211730.
