Having done my admin I wasn't keen on flying back, at least not with Vueling on the grueling flight from Barcelona - Helsinki that I had arrived with.

Spotted coaster wreck

Upon our arrival with s/y Fanny to Suakin (Sawakin) I spotted a semi submerged coaster vessel on the side of the fairway. She seemed to have been anchored or stranded on the shore possibly after having been laid up or developing a critical leak when she called port. Whatever the reason there she was sitting seemingly abandoned.

Cap San Diego

Having been invited to Doehle offices for an event I also took the advantage to visit Cap San Diego that is a museum ship sitting in Hamburg most of the time. What is special about her is that she is still in Class and does short cruises along the German coast in summertime depending on how their funds last. She is mostly kept ship shape by enthusiasts and pensioned seafarers.
