m/v Baleno, 1971 built in Japan
Having had the opportunity to do some shipspotting in Batangas I took as many pics I could of the ferries we passed and close by. I could probably spend a day going around in a launch taking pictures. Those that I took pictures of seem to be old Japanese builds, I guess they were the go to for second hand ships as they have the same topography and need for inter island ferries. I saw one new one from China, only a year or so old she might be the harbinger of things to come in the future with cheap and new transportation solutions...
m/v St Ignatius of Loyola, 1988 built in Japan
m/v Maria Xenia, 1974 built in Japan from Usuki
m/v Super Shuttle Roro 7, 1994 car carrier built in Japan from Kobe
m/v Santa Faustina, 2024 built in China from Jiangsu
m/v Trans Asia, 2019 built in Japan from Hiroshima
m/v Super Shuttle Ferry 18, 1981 built in Japan
Might be super scuttled now...
